Pretty Much Speaks For Itself
June 22, 2003

Sometimes, I really am like this. I must admit, however, that I am no where near as motivated as this comic would lead you to believe. I would like to take this moment to apologize to everyone who knows me. There, we are square now and I can go back to being myself in clear conscience. Oh damn, sorry again.
Today was quite a day. I set out to purchase the Rooney album, as the TV demanded of me. I figured, hell its cheap and I like "Blueside," so why not? I'm such a sheep/tool/lemming/corporate whore. It's produced, and it's polished, but I choose to like it anyway. Hating everything has grown stale.
None of my friends were feeling up to an adventure on the town, so I spent all evening playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for SNES with the intention of completing the entire game in one sitting. I realized about 15% of the way into it that this would be a near Herculean feat that I was neither physically nor mentally prepared to undertake. Plus I forgot how you get past one part, so I had to wander around aimlessly for quite a while so that I could re-solve the puzzle. The whole fiasco wasted too much time, so I quit. When all my friends are too tired to go out tomorrow night, I'll show that rat bastard Gannon what for.
Wow, I'm lame.

And the snow shorted out Zelda
June 30, 2003

Ahhh, good ol' Quad Cities. Good to be home...sorta. I was in California / Nevada for like a week, and while it was fun, since we sat around and did nothing all day, it was good to be sleeping in my own dungeon, er, bedroom last night. Zelda was much missed, since I had just gotten into it when I left. I did read that crazy new Harry Potter book, and before you point fingers and call me a loser...Matt read it also, and faster than I did I might add...haha.
Gambling is dumb is decided. I spent around $40 and lost it all gambling. It wasn't my money, but still, think of the GameCube games I could of bought with that. Hmmm, one, maybe two used. Either way, if you haven't tried it yet, don't, it's a waste of money.
In other news, Chad seems to have been working on the website some more. Or, maybe I'm just hallucinating again from all the 2nd hand pot smoke in this town.
I need some video game-age, so I'm gonna go do that. Hopefully sometime this week, the 3 masterminds behind this comic will get together and hang out, but, that all depends on me and matt, since...we're the ones with jobs....haha.
