Yay!

So, it turns out that this summer, no one is hiring.  It's quite a position that this puts me in and it leaves me wondering how I am going to pay for school, food, gas, etc.  But, it's good news for you people because it means I've got plenty of time to make stupid comics at least until I run out of the aforementioned food, etc.  This would all be good news if you cared, but I doubt that anyone does care since its been a solid 3 months since our last update.  Sorry about that.

Anyway, its good to be back.

Ta-ta.

Well, Chad sent me the link for his latest shmickity shmaw, and I like it.  The "new look" as I like to call it, is much deserved.  An overhaul if you will of the way it used to look into the brilliant masterpiece you now see before you!  G'job Chadwick, keep up the foshizzy!

In other news, I got a Gamecube , which made me very excited.  My first console.  See, up until now, I'd never seen the reasoning in getting a console for a few reasons.

A: Anything out on console, will most likely be emulated and therefore end up in my
hands eventually.
B: PC games had provided everything my heart desired.  With titles like Max Payne,
Tribes (the original), Unreal, Empire Earth, Warcraft, Diablo, ... the list goes on and on.
What need could there be for a console.
C: I refused to give in to the console way of life.  I would not be sucked in to playing
video games solely with controllers, minus a mouse and
keyboard!

Then, Zelda: Wind Waker came out.  First glance at this game, I sort of tossed it aside, as a missed oppurtunity for Nintendo to make another sweet Zelda game.  However, after having played it over at Chad's, and watching others play it up at college this past semester....hot damn, I HAD to play this game.  What better way then to just, bite the bullet and buy a gamecube.  My friend Dave hooked me up with his old one, which he barely used for $100 w/ 2 mem cards, a controller, and Eternal Darkness, also a great game.  Zelda is now on the top of my list for games to beat this summer.  With a little perserverance, I just might pull it off, in and out of working, planning a wedding, and making loud noise with Chad and Bill.

If you managed to read through all this somehow.....congrads. However, there is not cookie or cool prize.  Just the satisfaction that you now know a little bit more about my pathetic life.  Now don't you feel special?

WHAT'S NEW?
7-19-03  I made a new one on a whim.  I doubt anyone cares, but it can be found above, in all its mediocrity.   This won't be the begining of regular updates though, so don't be too overly excited.  Sorry.
