Yo Yo Yo.  This is Bill up on this awesome site for the first time.  That was a good comic guys, nice work.  I'm looking forward to future stuff from you 2 masterminds.  I know you guys are creative and artistic so this site should be pretty good.  If there are people out there actually looking at this site right now and reading what I am typing, besides CJ and Danno, I think you should add it to your favorites and come back.  I think it will be worth your time.  I'm out, lata.

Hey guys...well, I was JUST updating this site, and yeah, it crashed mid type, so NOW i have to try to remember what I was typing.  I think i was talking about whether or not we should do a color comic once a week and have all the rest of them in black and white.  Sorta doing a "real comics from the newspaper" sort of thing.  I think this may be what Chad was going for here, but, I've not talked to him since about 11:00pm last night.
In other news, I'm sitting here in a meeting for work, learning about high tech things.  So far we've covered "how to use a message-board" haha.  No, actually, it isn't THAT horrible, but it is friggin boring.  Work did buy is food, which is a good thing, but hardly makes up for the time lost listening to my superiors ramble on and on about "mission statements".  THEN, at 3pm this afternoon, I get to help interview around 60 people who are trying to work in the dormitory computer labs.  Pretty much, if during an interview, the interviewee goes, "yeah, i want this job so i can do my homework", or "i want this job because I'm a com sci major, and well, shoot, why not get paid to be on the computer, I'm gonna be on it anyway."  INSTANT EXPULSION!!!! Supposedly we don't want people who like to study, or use the computers while getting paid for it.  However, (shhh, don't tell anyone)....that IS the basic jist of the lab assisant job.  Getting paid to do your homework, or play Zelda, like i've been doing lately.
Ok, no more rambling on my part.  This look works better CJ, good man.

Hey guys.  I put the comic up.  Enjoy.  Or don't enjoy, it's up to you.  But if you could convince yourself to like it, that would be cool.  Sorry for taking so long to get it posted, but we aren't even really "officially" in production yet.  When things get rolling, a regular deadline will be met, and that deadline will probably amount to something like 2 or 3 times a week; but we'll just have to wait and see.  Between this and my other stupid little project, I'm keeping quite busy when I'm not wasting my time on things like "school" or "work." And yes, the comic is based on something that really happened, although with some embellishments.

I totally changed the site around because the stupid ad-banners at the top were messing up our title bar.  Not that this looks incredibly professional, but I'd say its a step up.  Ugh.  Such are the pitfalls of a free web-hosting sollution.  Anyways, I'm needing some sleep.

Looking at Chad's new stuff he has drawn for the next comic, I feel that his synopsis of "lets just forget about that first comic", is a good philosophy.  I did think the first comic was funny, but, well, this next one, even in it's frame-tastic shape, is already turning out better.  Kudos to Chad for that thang.  As far as what has been going on this week, well, I've been playing video games, mainly Battlefield RtR, and Ravenshield for the past 4 hrs with Chad.  Great game, gotta love playin co-op with around 40 terrorists.  Lots of yelling has been heard echoing down the hall of Chad's floor. Things of the "WHERE THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM" nature were among the most frequently used phrases.  Eww, Eww, Chad's ordering pizza, so we can get some nourishment, and then continue playing Ravenshield.  Gotta love pathetic Friday nights.

8:15pm
Well, as of 8:15pm on April 2, 2003, Lost in Metropolis has been born.  Pushed out from the dark depths that is Me and Chad's imaginations.  Chad is drawing this beast, and I will be doing the coloring. We'll both be upkeepign the site, and stuff like that.  We decided to keep the comic as universal as possible, with the exception of this first one, cause, we wanted to make one that showed the direction of this comic, and site.  We wanted anyone to be able to just hop in and be able to relate to the comics and what we discuss.  What that direction is, and what we tried to show in the first comic....heck if I know.  Regardless, here it is.  We found it funny, if you do, cool, if not, uh....screw you, haha.  We haven't yet decided what days we'll have it up.  From reading a million web comics, and stuff, we noticed that having a schedule and sticking to it, is the key to having one of these things take off.  Also, getting this site advertised somewhere would be a good idea.  If anyone stumbles across this site, and knows of a place we can get on a "Web Comic" list, or somethign, please email us, and let us know.  Other than that, enjoy the comic, and check back here frequently please, we need all the support we can get.
